Two ways to live the Caribbean: one on the sand, one at the table.
Both move at the same pace: slow, deliberate, and warm with the sun.
Some of my earliest memories are woven around long tables: breaking fresh bread, pouring olive oil, and voices overlapping into the warm night. When we built Piedra Ladrillo, that was the exact feeling we wanted to recreate. Same dinner, same warmth, but this time, right on the Caribbean shore.
Our kitchen lives between two worlds. From the Mediterranean we borrow technique slow fires, olive oil, and time honored recipes. From the Caribbean we take what each morning brings: fresh catch from local boats, tropical fruits at their peak, and the warmth of a region that knows how to eat without rushing.
The result is a menu that doesn’t translate, only tastes. A Mediterranean reinterpreted by the sea, served barefoot, under palm shadows, with the horizon as the only clock.
Wood-fired octopus, hand-rolled pasta. Old World classics reinterpreted through the fresh, vibrant ingredients the Caribbean yields each morning.
Craft mixology, local spirits, and a wine list traveling from Spain to Baja California. Designed to complement our flavors, and best enjoyed at sunset.
Our kitchen still talks directly to the boats. Sea bass, snapper, and local seafood—whatever the ocean offered today, prepared over an open flame with utmost respect.
Tarta de Santiago, tropical fruit pavlova, and artisanal pastries baked daily in our wood-fired oven. The perfect excuse to linger for one more course.
The Caribbean, unfiltered.
Where the kitchen ends, the sand begins. Loungers under palm shade, cocktails as the light turns gold, and the rhythm of the Caribbean from sunrise to last star.
Our beach is a stretch of fine white sand, palm shade, and turquoise water that knows how to make hours disappear. During the day, the menu travels from our kitchen to your lounger. At sunset, the music begins. By night, the stars take over.

It’s good for relaxing and also for working. Food is fair price quality ratio on the beach. And service is very nice, especially Santos the waiter.Posted on Google Celia ZaragozaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. El hotel parece sacado de un sueño y el servicio es inmejorable. La gente de recepción fue super atenta en todo momento y los camareros del restaurante encantadores. Nos quedamos solo dos noches, pero ojalá hubiéramos estado más!Posted on Google Grégory BaratteTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Our little hidden gem in Tulum. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic ! We had the chance to try almost everything on during our stay, and every meal was excellent (Breakfast, beef tacos and Aguachile is demential) That said, you should be prepared to spend a fair amount, as dining/drinking can add up quickly. (But well, it’s Tulum) A special thanks to Santos, who was amazing with great service. The atmosphere of the hotel is beautiful, and the proximity to the beach makes it feel truly special especially with a toddler. Also the beach is cleaned from seagrass every morning ! Thats a really cool for the area. The only small downside was that a few things felt a bit overly monetized and overprice, such as the yoga classes and even the Nespresso capsules in the room. Asside from that, it was a lovely experiencePosted on Google MichifuzTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
